Environmental cleaning and disinfection is a topic of great concern today as health issues have arisen globally because of the rapid spread of flu viruses like H1N1 swine flu and avian flu, SARS, MRSA, Legionnaires disease, and other germs. Indoor air quality (IAQ) as well as outdoor smog and pollution have become major issues. Allergens and fragrances, cooking odors, volatile organic compounds (VOC's) from carpets, textiles, plastics, vinyls, chemicals and furniture contribute to poor IAQ.
Cleaning is the necessary first stage of any disinfection process. Cleaning removes organic material (e.g. soil, food or fecal matter), which might interfere and block the disinfection process. Scrubbing with detergents and rinsing with water removes large numbers of micro-organisms from surfaces.
Disinfection removes up to 99.9% of the remaining micro-organisms on environmental surfaces by destroying or inactivating them. A variety of disinfectants are available and one of the best is accelerated hydrogen peroxide.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
(1) Initially take meter readings on various surfaces with a ATP meter and record.
(2) If surfaces are visibly dirty, clean with steam or spray with Greencleanz.
(3) Spray NuTiO Primer and allow to dry.
(4) Spray NuTiO Top Coat and allow to dry. It will cure in 7-14 days.
(5) Install an air flow equalizing system for best results to best circulate air, however this is not necessary.
(6) Take and record meter readings for ATP on a regular basis.
(7) For disinfection, with a micro-fiber cloth wipe touch-points like door knobs, keyboards, telephone, desk, chair arms, with a very effective disinfectant like accelerated hydrogen peroxide. This is more effective and works faster than products like Purell. Then wipe again with a dry micro-fiber cloth. Disinfect as required.
(8) Take and record meter readings for ATP on wiped touch-points.
