The Griswold SBC Controller generates a proprietary signal process that is applied to the water via a series of induction coils housed in a reaction chamber. As the water passes through the reaction chamber, the size, shape and net charge of dissolved mineral crystals are instantly altered. In this altered state, calcium and other hard water minerals do not precipitate in the normal fashion and adhere to surfaces. Bacteria and corrosion are also controlled. This signal provides nucleation sites in the water that force minerals to precipitate in the aqueous solution - forming larger colloidal particles that do not adhere to surfaces.
